INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT TREATMENT

 

Intensive outpatient treatment is a planned and organized service in which addiction professional provide several AOD treatment service components to clients. Treatment consists of regularly scheduled sessions within a structured program, with a minimum of nine treatment hours per week. These groups include day or evening programs in which the following topics are covered; anger management, relapse prevention, boundaries, emotions, disease concept, setting goals, relationships, HIV/AIDS, changing behaviors, and other topics related to addiction.
