Restoring Hope. Rebuilding Lives. Renewing Purpose.
Grounded in faith. Led by community. Built for healing—in Alaska and wherever we’re needed.

We don’t see brokenness—we see what’s possible.
We meet people where they are.
With humility and consistency, we walk with those navigating recovery, rebuilding identity, or learning to lead.
Because healing happens in relationships—not isolation.

Why Tutàn Works
At Tutàn, recovery isn’t a script—it’s a relationship.
We walk with each person, honoring their story and offering real tools for healing. Here’s how we make recovery work—not just for 30 days, but for the long haul.
Healing That Starts at the Root
Most addiction isn’t about the substance—it’s about the pain beneath it. At Tutàn, we slow down, listen deeply, and go beyond symptom management, offering trauma-informed counseling with nearly twice the one-on-one time of typical programs.
Evidence-Based, Person-Focused Care
We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) to help people see how their thoughts, choices, and trauma shape behavior. These interactive groups focus on your current journey, supporting both immediate participation and lasting change.
A Space That Feels Like You Belong
Healing only happens where people feel safe, so we’ve built a space that feels more like community than clinic. From the moment you arrive, you’re seen, welcomed, and supported—making it easier to stay, return, and rebuild.
Rooted in Faith.
Open to All.

HOPE
Tutàn means “hope” in Tlingit—a reminder that no matter how far someone has fallen, a future worth living is still possible. It’s the heart of everything we do: restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and renewing purpose.
